This is a ~phenomenal~ demo. Short, super exciting, and I learned a few thing!
you ARE good at this!
Gold❤️
What is the future lineup? Is there anything coming? New plugins? Updates?
Sick, can't believe I've been sitting on this for over 2y 😂
This might be a stupid question but is it mono compatible?
Tool roes a better job at Putting you in the Word / Experience
Well Chris, your plugs are too microscopic to even use. Should of worked on that before bringing out another overly done on every company just another reverb plugin. This is constructive criticism so you survive.
Wonder if they added this Cus of Yeat
Probably one of the best plug-in demos I've seen. Nice to see a master at work and Pete's many techniques
Great tutorial, so much better than some in the past which have seemed random and not well thought out or executed. I really appreciated how you went through each knob and explained its function, while the simple drum beat demonstrated how each tweak sounded. The purpose and function of the knobs are, of course, obvious to you, but they are not to us non-engineers, and so this will really help me get much better at using SuperPlate to improve my mixing. Thank you Soundtoys!!!
one thing, I definitely need to spend more time doing, is really knowing and understanding the tools I have...thank you
You're very welcome
Scaleable hidpi GUI When ?
I ❤️ Soundtoys
And Soundtoys loves you.
Nice one Chris and team, well explained.
Thanks, glad you think so!
Nice. Something about the synth patch and the chord progression gave me deadmau5 vibes.
Thanks for listening!
Love it. Soundtoys really make fantastic plugins.
Couldn't agree more!
Wow! This is absolute excellent. ❤🔥
Glad you like it!
Sesame Street voiceover
This is brilliant. THANK YOU.
You're welcome! Glad you like it :)
What else does one need?! Amazing.
Very useful, just noticed that Auto-Decay today when dialing in a drum reverb, now I know what it's doing!
It's a really cool feature. You're going to love it!
Great demo!!
Chris, you are a marvel!!!
The treble decay is the one thing that sounds weird to me with this plugin. It always sounds kind of gated to me, compared to a real plate, I.R or other algorithmic plate simulation like Valhalla Plate. I had to check this a number of times to make sure I wasn't imagining things. The treble sustains loudly, and the suddenly falls off really fast rather than decaying smoothly. Other than that, it sounds great. It just doesn't work well sometimes for drums and other percussive sounds.
Which one? They are all different. Each style decays like the original hardware it represents. But of course it can sound different when you're outside the decay range of the originals since we've never heard that before.
@@Synthlabs Hi. I'm only really familiar with the 140 plate, so that's the one that sounds odd to me. It doesn't seem to build up in density in the high end as fast as a normal one, and then it drops away quite suddenly. I use it in the around the 1-3 second range which is standard for a 140. It is a great plugin, it would just maybe benefit from a bit of tuning with the 140 model.
This video is awesome, and Chris is the coolest!!
Thanks, we think so too!
AWESOME!
Glad you think so!
Great demo!
Thanks, we're glad you like it!
🤯
Oh yes keep these tutorials coming please!
More to come! Glad to hear they're helpful.
@@soundtoysplease more to Tremolator ❤🔥
Really enjoyed this video - and just love the SoundToys suite. I cannot resist putting at least one SoundToys plug-ins on most channels 🙂 'The vocals sound cool - and kinda maybe cooler than what's actually going to come out'. This comment at 11.25 stood out for me - resist the temptation to always be going back to a mix and tweak interminably 🐒
Thanks! We're happy to hear you find them helpful.
love these, wud love more vids
Ok Parker, that was fire. Learned lots and entertained through out.
Thank you!
hell yeah! thank you
That haircut is a strong look. A strong, insane look. God love 'im.
The phrasing and tone is reminiscent of Lewis Taylor in case anyone remembers him
The Ecoplate slogan was “The brightest and the best!”
00:38 Amazing
would love to hear this guys original music
These videos are awesome and will be very useful! Parker is a pleasure to listen to and watch
Glad you like them!
Thank you very much, I think you've done a stirling job across the three videos 👍
Thank you! We're glad you like them :)
Although I absolutely love the Soundtoys plug ins - this doesn't sound like a vocal anymore...where has the beauty of the human voice gone? Are we turning into robots?
That's the way of the world... Transhumanism, Human 2.0, "hackable animals" !
It's great to hear you love our plug-ins! This video is part of series on vocal processing that develops an entire mix using vocal effects. You might see the bigger picture if you watch all three videos - this one in particular focuses on vocal chops which might sound a bit robotic, but it's designed to create a textural effect within the mix. Check out the whole series to hear how it all fits together!
Best part about this series is how you have demonstrated the FX on the dry narration vocal. First time I've seen that done before and should be a staple in this type of tutorial :)
my dude absolutely crushing this series! have learned a lot and really appreciate you taking the time to teach us!
Thank you! We think Parker is pretty awesome and can't wait to see what he does next.
💯 these videos are so great please keep doing them
More to come! We're so glad you find them helpful and interesting. Thanks for your support!
I would love this EQ if it had an output gain fader so that I could gain match the output of the EQ to the input. As it is now I have to use a gain plugin after the Sie-Q to compensate to the extra gain I often have coming out of the EQ after adding some boost and drive. Both Arturia's Sitral and Pulsar's W495 allow for this. In fact, they even have auto gain settings. So useful to have those features.
The plugin deserved an ad that good, one of the best reverbs out there!
Thank you!!
What an awesome addition to the palette!
This series is dope af.
Thanks!
